Aboriginal Family Health Strategy

This program was created to help women and men, their children and extended families who are impacted, or likely to be, by domestic violence.

Domestic Violence is still increasing in these communities and the outcome is usually very poor for Aboriginal families.

Based in Narromine and Bourke, the program is funded by the NSW Department of Health and offers peer support groups, school based early intervention and prevention programs and home visits.
