Support Worker (Staying Home Leaving Violence), Cowra – Re-Advertised
CatholicCare provides a broad range of programs and services caring for the well-being of individuals, families, and communities, especially the vulnerable and at risk.
The SHLV program aims to support women and children affected by domestic and family violence (DFV) to remain in their home, or a home of their choosing, while the perpetrator is removed.
The purpose of this role is to hold a caseload of women and children, provide intensive case management and case coordination, offer practical and brokerage support towards enhanced home safety, and facilitate educational activities.
Delivery of the Staying Home Leaving Violence (SHLV) Program will be in accordance with CCWF vision, mission, and values and contractual requirements.
The position is full-time based in Cowra with a maximum term contract until 27th June 2025. If further funding is made available, an additional contract may be offered to the incumbent.
