CatholicCare provides a broad range of innovative social services in response to the needs of communities in western NSW.

We are seeking a caring person to join our Staying Home Leaving Violence team.

The Staying Home Leaving Violence program aims to support women and children affected by Domestic and Family Violence (DFV) to remain in their home, or a home of their choosing, whilst leaving the person who uses violence.

You will provide case management to women and children, case coordination, offer practical and brokerage support to enhance home safety, and facilitate educational activities. A current driver’s licence is required, as travel is required to outlying communities.

You will also deliver the Staying Home Leaving Violence (SHLV) Program in accordance with CatholicCare Wilcannia Forbes vision, mission, values, and contractual requirements.

The position may be based in our Condobolin or Lake Cargelligo Branch and is full-time with a maximum term contract until 26 June 2026. If further funding is made available, an additional contract may be offered to the incumbent.

The benefits of working with us:

  • Attractive hourly rate starting from $38.42 (depending on experience, skills and qualifications)
  • Salary Packaging – package up to $15,900 per year tax free!
  • An opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of people in the community.
