Family Worker, Nyngan (Re-Advertised)

Established in 1996, covering 52% of western NSW, CatholicCare Wilcannia-Forbes Limited provides programs and services to enhance social, economic and emotional wellbeing and to strengthen networks of support in our rural and remote communities.

We have an amazing opportunity available!  If you are a caring, enthusiastic and motivated individual, we need you!

You will offer support, mentoring and parenting education to families with children aged 0 – 18 years. This position also requires you to organise and run peer support groups, community events, provide case management and run one 2 two hour playgroup per week. 

If you enjoy working with people, this position will enable you to personalise your groups, be creative and make a real difference to the community.  This position is part time and offers a wonderful opportunity to work in partnership with local organisations, schools and the community to make a real difference.

Initially, a maximum term contract will be offered until 18 June 2021, with a likely extension to the end of June 2023. An attractive remuneration package is on offer commensurate with your qualifications and experience.
