CatholicCare provides a broad range of innovative social services in response to the needs of communities in western NSW.

This exciting employment opportunity has become available through the establishment of a Children’s Contact Service in Broken Hill.

We are seeking Contact Support Workers, to promote the wellbeing of children during either a supervised visit or changeover to a parent/guardian by supervising interactions and behaviours to ensure children feel safe and comfortable.

The role involves off-site supervision, supported monitored visits, telephone/internet-based supervision, and unsupervised on-site visits for children in separated families.

One part-time position is available as well as casual positions, based in Broken Hill, offering a maximum term contract to 26 June 2026. If further funding is made available, an additional contract may be offered to the incumbents.
