CatholicCare provides a broad range of innovative social services in response to the needs of communities in western NSW.
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to contribute to our new Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence (DFSV) program. This position offers you the opportunity to play a significant role in supporting women and children, their families, and the broader community in addressing domestic and family violence.
In this role you will provide trauma informed and culturally appropriate responses to individuals and families who experience DFSV, to build capacity within the community and to respond to DFSV through community events, workshops, groups, and to work in partnership with other services to improve services and outcomes for individuals and families who experience domestic family violence.
This position is full-time, with delivery in the Cowra area. The position ideally would be based in Cowra but may be based in Forbes and offers a maximum term contract until 26 June 2026. If further funding is made available, an additional contract may be offered to the incumbent.
This is an identified position for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People.
